General Description
Nerium oleander 'Variegatum' is a tropical plant with variegated lanceolate leaves and deep pink, double flowers in terminal cymes.
Landscape
Use for screening, informal hedging or borders.
Cultivation
Grow in full sun, in well-drained, fertile, loam-based medium with added leafmould.

Leaf Description
Opposite, lanceolate, acute sharp, variegated dark green and yellow with a prominent midrib, on short leafstalk, usually in whorls of 3 or paired.
Flower Description
Showy, double, petals bright pink and funnelform, 5 sepals, anthers plumose, in terminal, compound cyme containing up to 80 flowers.
Fruit Description
Follicles: dry, derived from a single carpel, opening on one side only to release its seeds.
Propagation
By semi-ripe cuttings of terminal shoots or by stem sections in summer, after flowering.
