I have grown this plant for many years and find that it is a reliable staple of the garden, however I prefer the pink form that occasionally presents itself in the garden as it seems less vigorous and a little uncommon. D. lutea is a free sower where conditions are ideal and thus it may require some editing to keep it in check.
