General Description
Iris 'George' is a dwarf, bulbous iris with straight leaves and fragrant, deeply purple flowers.
Landscape
Suitable in a rock garden and in combination with other minor bulbs such as Chionodoxa, Galanthus, Crocus and Eranthis.
Cultivation
Grow in full sun, in moist, well drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil. Resents transplanting and bulb disturbances. Mulch around plants to prevent contamination of early spring blooms from soil splash.

Straight and narrow, almost square in section.
