General Description
A tall and vigorous shrub, densely twiggy and upright in growth.
Landscape
Hedge, screen, specimen or accent plant.
Cultivation
Plant in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil. Apply an organic mulch and general fertilizer in the spring. Prune out old, damage or weak shoots from the base after flowering. It is possible to rejuvenate through thinning and cutting hard back and then applying general fertilizer. May require support from the wind and heavy rain in exposed areas.
