General Description
A dwarf bearded iris with solitary purple-violet flowers. Occasionally as many as 3 flowers produced on a single plant.
Cultivation
Grow in full sun in a well-drained soil.

Susceptible to rhizome soft rot (Erwinia carotovora) and scorch.
Leaf Description
The leaves are almost completely straight, grey-green in colour, to 15x1.5 cm, dying away in winter.
Flower Description
Four lime-green petals make up the main body, with three slightly darker bracts curling just underneath it. The bracts measure 10 cm, enclosing the tube. Flowers have a blue or yellow beard.
Propagation
Propagate by seed or dividing rhizomes.
