Flowering Period
General Description
A critically endangered plant with only 4,000 individuals remaining. Leaves are positioned in a basal rosette and have bicoloured flowers similar to Salvia offcinalis (the common kitchen herb). When crushed the stems give off a delightful smell.
Habitat
The summit of limestone hills and lava intrusions.
Flower Description
Small flowers, the upper lip pale blue lowering and white with faint yellow marking on the lower portion.
