Lowland scrubs at and altitude of approximately 300 m.

Scaly, dark brown bark with reddish-grey twigs.

Globose and glabrous, reddish-brown, 1-2 mm.
Leaf Description
Elliptic or oblong, thick and pointed, glossy green with a pubescent underside, 3-9 secondary veins on either side of the midvein and a rounded or cuneate base, 1-2.5 x 0.6-1.5 cm.
Fruit Description
Acorn, ovoid and pointed, 1.2-2.5 cm.
