Habitat
Found at an altitude of 2,100-2,950 m.
Bark/Stem Description
Smooth and grey bark with thin glabrescent branchlets.
Flower/Leaf Bud Description
Rounded with ciliate scales, 1-2 mm in length.
Leaf Description
Oboval to elliptical, toothed, 5-6 secondary veins on either side of the midvein and a rounded, cordate or cuneate base, 2-5 x 1-4 cm.
Fruit Description
Ovoid acorn, 1-1.5 cm in length.
