Habitat
Found at altitudes of 600-1,900 m.

Dark grey with deep furrows.

Leaf Description
Elliptical to oboval-lanceolate, thick, rough with a subcordate base, glabrous, glossy green with 15-20 secondary veins on either side of the midvein.
Fruit Description
Acorn, pointed 1-1.5 cm, singular or paired.
