Leaf Description
Oblong, elliptical or oblanceolate, thick, toothed, glacuous, a cordate or rounded base, 7-11 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, rough with stellate hairs and a pale yellowish-grey underside, 3-10 x 1.5-3 cm.
Flower Description
Male catkins 1.5-3 cm in length and female inflorescences 1-2 cm in length.
Fruit Description
Acorn, singular or paired, 0.8-1.2 cm.
