Grey and fissured bark with brown, glabrescent twigs.

Leaf Description
Oblong-elliptical to oblong-lanceolate, thin, bristle-tipped, dark green with a paler underside, a rounded to cordate base and 10-20 veins on either side of the midvein, 3-10 x 1-4 cm.

Acorn, ovoid or cylindrical, light brown, singular or paired, 1.2-1.8 cm.
