Habitat
Sandy soils at an altitude of 0-200 m.
Bark/Stem Description
Smooth, dark grey with light grey, hairless twigs.
Flower/Leaf Bud Description
Globose, dark greyish-brown.
Leaf Description
Oboval or oblanceolate, a rounded to pointed apex and a cuneate base, glossy green with a blueish-green underside, 4-10 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 4-10 x 3-5 cm.
Fruit Description
Acorn, dark brown, 1.5-1.8 in length.
