Origin:  Raised from a seedling of Kilimanjaro ('Jww1') a larger formed plant in the Netherlands. In 2014 it was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society plant of the year at Chelsea.

White, lace cap-hydrangea flowers layered as is typical with the forms. It has a main spring flowering with a lighter one later in the season.

In late summer the red berries mature to a glossy black.
