Open, spreading crown.
Habitat
Forests at an altitude of 0-3,400 m.
Bark/Stem Description
Very furrowed, pinkish-grey to brownish-grey with olive-brown to light brown twigs.
Flower/Leaf Bud Description
Pointed and narrow, 5 mm in length.
Leaf Description
Oboval, toothed, glossy dark green, a pointed apex and rounded base with 9-16 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 8-15 x 2-5 cm.
Fruit Description
Acorn, subglobose, 1-2 cm in length.
