Origin:  Found in Western Australia from the coast of the north-west south and east to the Nullarbour Plain into South Australia. It is common and quite widespread.

General Description
A short lived plant with one to many ascending stems and linear leaves.

Grows in sand or loam and can be found in floodplains and on stony plains.

Leaves are linear to oblong, succulent to fleshy and 4 cm long.

Pink or red flowers found in racemes with each floret 15 -20 mm in size opening for only one day.
