General DescriptionBiennial herb that grows to 0.6m.

Bark/Stem DescriptionStem leaves are palmately divided, equally long as wide.
Leaf DescriptionLeaves are arranged in a basal rosette. The leaf is 1½ - 2 times as long as wide. 0.5mm long hairs cover the leaf.
Flower DescriptionCorolla 9-13mm long. 5 lobed to middle, lavender or pale pink in colour. Calyx is 5-lobed near to the base; 5 stamens. Protrudes 1-3mm with 1 pistil. Blooms late April to early July. Arranged in inflorescences with thin hairs.
