Description and Growing Information

ShapeGrows as a shrub or small tree.
PropagationPropagate through softwood cuttings.
PestsGenerally disease free, but may be attacked by glasshouse white fly, glasshouse red spider mite, mealybugs and scale insects, as well as by the caterpillars of the abutilon moth and wingless weevils in North America.
Leaf DescriptionLeaves are 15 cm in length, with 3, 5, or 7 lobes which are cordate at the base. Lobes are slender pointed and coarsely toothed.
Flower DescriptionFlowers are solitary or 2-6 in long-stalked cymes in the upper leaf axil. Often 5 - 8 cm in diameter, with white or paler purple-blue flowers.
