Bark/Stem DescriptionCladodes suborbicular or orbicular in shape, measuring between 0.1 - 0.3 m in diameter grow upward, connecting together. Areoles insignificant, 2 - 3 mm in diameter and carry between 2 - 6 spines, measuring from 3 - 6 cm in length each.
Flower DescriptionHighly showy open cup-shaped blooms, measuring between 5 - 8 cm in diameter appear on the edges of mature cladodes.
Colour DescriptionMedium green to sage green succulent bodies with dark brownish black spines and areoles. Golden yellow, vivid orange or bright red blooms.
