General Description | Evergreen perennial, with upright tree-like stems that grow from horizontal stems. |

Cultivation | Prefers humus-rich, sandy, moist but not completely saturated soils. |
Habitat | Dry to moist forests, bog edges, rocky or sandy places in the lowland to montane zones. |
