Leaf DescriptionAlternate, compound with 9 - 11 leaflets. The leaflets are 1 - 3 cm long and elliptic and rounded or blunt at the tip with serrated edges except for at the base.
Flower DescriptionAppear in cluster of 1 - 4 flowers that form at tips of new shoots. The flowers are 3 - 5 cm long. The petals are rounded with wavy edges and notched at the tip.
Fruit DescriptionRound berry-like fruit that is 1 - 1.5 cm wide.
Colour DescriptionThe flowers are white to deep rose pink with yellow stamens. The leaves have a dark green upper surface and a light green underside. The berry-like fruit is bright red in the summer.
Texture DescriptionThe leaves have a hairy textured underside.
