Description and Growing Information

LandscapeExcellent in flower borders or beds.
PropagationPropagate by division in spring or by basal cuttings in early to mid-spring. May also be cultivated by seed, but will not come true.
CultivationGrow in full sun or partial shade (although is shade is tolerated) in any moderately fertile soil that is not waterlogged. Cut back after flowering to encourage a fresh flush of flowers and leaves.
PestsMay be attacked by vine weevils, capsid bugs and sawflies, as well as by downy mildew and powdery mildews.
