Description and Growing Information

LandscapeBoarders and containers.
PropagationDivision every 3rd - 4th year will keep plants vigourous. Split in autumn or immediately after flowering. By seed: seeds should be collected in late summer or autumn and kept refrigerated until sown. Stratification is required for germination, then seeds can be sown between February and April. Seedlings should be a good size before pricking out.
CultivationWell drained soil in full sun to partial shade.
PestsVine weevil grubs, slugs, snails, rust and leaf spots.
HabitatHorticultural origin.
Flower DescriptionVeined and striped in beautiful shades of blue, violet, cream and pink.
