Leaf Description |
Dark green, fan shaped spreading around the the plant. Foliage leaves have shallow notches at their apexes. |
Flower Description |
Colour ranges from pink to red-purple or violet. Colour tends to be darker at the inside base of each flower. |
Fruit Description |
Fruit production is generally high, but is affected by storm events, plant density and other factors. Four seeds per fruit are produced. Seeds are brown in colour and do not require a dormant period before sprouting. However, the seed coat is impermeable to water and should be scarified before planting. |
