General Description
A rhizomatous herbaceous perennial.
Landscape
A good, low maintenance groundcover for small areas, edging for shady locations (for example along walkways), plant groupings in wild, woodland or naturalized areas, partially shaded rock garden locations.
Cultivation
Plant in full sun to partial shade in dry, extremely well-draining, slightly acidic soil. Prefers humus-rich loams.

Leaf Description
