| After leaves have yellowed in the autumn, divide the rhizomes into 5 cm pieces. Set 15 cm apart, 1 cm deep, and mulch. To propagate by seed, collect the fruits in summer, separate the pulp, and plant immediately outdoors at 1 cm deep. |
