Cultivation |
Tolerant of low light but reluctant to flower in such conditions. C. miniata blooms best in bright light allowing the plant to dry out between waterings in the winter if grown as a pot plant. Fertilize weekly during the active growing season but eliminate feeding in the winter. Keep plants pot-bound. If grown indoors keep plants cool (10°C) to stimulate spring flowering. |
