General Description
A fast-growing deciduous tree with beautiful autumn colouring and very small red flowers in spring.
Landscape
Excellent ornamental tree with autumn interest.
Cultivation
Grow in full sun or partial shade in a moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil, with better autumn colouring occurring if planted in a more acidic soil. Any pruning should be done after the leaves fall.

Leaf Description

Flowers are extremely small, not showy, and are red in colour, unisexual.

Fruit is a woody pod with many flat seeds.
