Flowering Period
Leaf Description
Stem and branches are made up of cylindrical segments, blueish green in colour. Spines are silvery, golden or pale yellow, densely placed on the branches and spread in all directions, 2-3.8 cm in length.
Flower Description
Greenish-yellow in colour, outer petals with a streak of red.
Fruit Description
Green turning light tan at maturity, obvoid-turbinate 1.2-2.5 cm in length with dense spreading spines on the upper portion.
