Habitat
River basins and valleys at an altitude of 1,300-2,500 m.

Exfoliates in flakes, yellow-white or yellowish brown in colour.

Broadly ovate-rhombic or ovate-rhombic, with 4-7 later veins per side.
Flower Description
Female inflorescence, oblong-cylindric, 1-4 cm x 5-10 mm.
Fruit Description
Produced July and August.
