General Description
This spreading shrubby tree has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
Habitat
Gravel or rocky stream banks, lake shores and coasts at an altitude of 0-2,500 m.
Bark/Stem Description
Relatively smooth, grey to greyish green in colour.
Leaf Description
Thin, ovate or oval, toothed and green to yellowish-green in colour with a pale green underside, 4-10 x 3-8 cm.
Flower Description
Catkins 2.5-13 cm.
