Blackish-grey bark with purplish-brown branchlets.
Leaf Description
Elliptic, oblong or obovate-oblong, a cordate base, 14-18 lateral veins on either side, 7-11x5-5.5 cm.
Flower Description
Female inflorescence, 5-11x2.5 cm.
Fruit Description
Pubescent, broad and ovate nutlet 4x3 mm, produced July through August.
