Propagation |
Propagation by seed: seeds should be sown in autumn in a cold frame, germinating in late winter or spring. Seeds should be pre-soaked warm water for 48 hours, then 2 weeks warm preceded by 3-4 months of cold stratification. Germinates within 1-6 months at 20°C. Once large enough, prick and place into individual pots on a cold frame. Place into permanent positions late spring or early summer. Can be divided by suckers in early spring and placed directly into permanent position. |
