Habitat
Mixed forests at an altitude of 900-1,200 m.

Smooth, grey or brownish grey in colour with thin glabrous branchlets.
Leaf Description
Elliptic, dark green, thin leaves, with a truncate or subcordate base and 5 lanceolate or ovate-oblong lobes, 7-10 x 8-12 cm.
Flower Description
Greenish-white 5 petaled flowers.
Fruit Description
Yellowish brown in colour, produced in September. Winged ovoid nutlets 2.5-1.6 cm.
