Forests in limestone areas and wet slopes at an altitude of 1,500 - 2,800 m.

Leaf Description
Large, broad, tough, dark green leaves with a lighter underside, 36 x 20 cm.
Flower Description
Fragrant, cup shaped white or cream flowers edged with a burnt red or pink colour, 15 - 25 cm in diameter.
