Habitat
Mesophytic forests at an altitude of 200-600 m.
Bark/Stem Description
Glabrous branchlets with a white hue.
Leaf Description
Oblong-elliptic, ovate, ovate-lanceolate or lanceolate, with a rounded to cuneate base and 6-8 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 10-15 x 3-6 cm.
Flower Description
Female inflorescences, 2-3 cm.
Fruit Description
Bowl-shaped acorn, pale brown, 0.3-3 cm. Oblong-ellipsoid glabrous nut, 4 x 2-3 cm, produced November through December.
