Habitat
Mixed forests at an altitude of approximately 600 m.
Bark/Stem Description
Smooth.
Leaf Description
Lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, alternate, toothed, with 12-16 secondary veins on either side of the midvein and a attenuate to broadly cuneate base, 7-12 x 2-3.5 cm.
Flower Description
Acorn, 8 mm x 1.5 cm. Ellipsoid nut, light brown, 1.5-2.5 x 1.3-1.5 cm, produced in October.
