Habitat
Found at altitudes of 1,800-2,420 m.

Small and rounded with ciliate scales.
Leaf Description
Elliptical or lanceolate, glabrous with a pale underside, 10-25 secondary veins on either side of the midvein and a rounded or cuneate base, 3-10 x 1-2 cm.
Fruit Description
Acorn, ovoid and light brown, 1.5 cm in length.
