Greyish-brown bark with reddish-brown twigs.

Ovoid and pointed reddish-brown, 3-10 mm in length.
Leaf Description
Oblong-elliptical, oval, lanceolate or oboval, with a rounded or cordate base, 10-14 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 6-13 x 3-6 cm.
Fruit Description
Oblong, singular or paired acorn, 2-2.5 cm in length.
