Smooth, grey bark maturing to become furrowed with glabrous, reddish-brown twigs.

Leaf Description
Elliptical, lancolate or oval, thick with a pointed apex, toothed, glossy, with a cuneate or attenuate base and 10-14 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 5-12 x 1-4 cm.
