General Description
This species has been placed on the IUCN Red List as least concern.
Habitat
Found in mountainous areas at an altitude of approximately 2,700 m.
Bark/Stem Description
Smooth light grey bark with glabrous twigs.
Leaf Description
Elliptical, glabrous and bright green with a dull underside and 10-17 strongly raised secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 10-20 x 3-5 cm.
Fruit Description
Acorn, ovoid, 2-3 x 1..5-2 cm.
