Habitat
Found in dry areas at an altitude of 1,200-3,000 m.

Thick, grey and furrowed bark with reddish-brown twigs.

Brown, 3 mm.
Leaf Description
Dark green and glabrous, 2-6 lobes on either side a cuneate base and 8 veins on either side of the midvein, 5-15 x 3-8 cm.
Fruit Description
Acorn, ovoid, singular or paired, 1.2-2.5 cm.
