Thick, brownish-grey, exfoliates in thin plates.
Leaf Description
Oval-oblong, glabrous and rough, a rounded or broad conical base and 14-17 secondary veins on either side of the midvein, 10-22 x 3-9 cm.

Inflorescences 4-14 cm in length.
Fruit Description
Acorn, ovoid, glabrous, singular or paired, 1.1-1.8 x 0.9-1.2 cm.
