General Description
Very popular and relatively easy-to-grow houseplant, grown for its foliage.
Landscape
Tropical specimen or accent or hedge for frost-free areas. Where not winter hardy plants may be grown indoors in containers.
Cultivation
Best grown in full sun to partial shade with rich, acidic, medium moisture, well-drained loamy soil. Water deeply and allow soils to dry between waterings. Prune as needed to encourage branching and foliage density.
