Strong tropical effect. Accent, specimen, silhouette, barrier or container plant, en masse, near swimming pools, in courtyards, rock gardens, as an impenetrable hedge and coastal shoreline areas. |
Cultivation |
Grow in full sun to partial shade in a free draining, organically enriched, open sandy soil with a pH 6.1 – 7.5, mildly acidic to neutral. Does not do well in the hotter drier interior regions unless beside a water body or in a lawn. |
