Entirely glabrous, to 14 × 5.5 cm, obovate, obtuse at the apex, tapering at the base into a petiole 5–10 mm long, margins entire, lower surface often blotched with red and midrib with a crenulate keel 1 mm wide. |

Male flowers have bracteoles that are 2 mm long, filamentous, plumose; stamens 3.5 mm long. Female flower has a pubescent ovary; styles 2 mm long, joined for one-third, apices bifid.Capsule and seeds not seen. |
