Well worth inclusion in the garden for its early-blooming, fragrant pink flowers. This is one of the first of its genus to flower in the spring as it blooms in early April.

Flowering Period
General Description
This Shrub has shiny, deep green leaves that turn lovely shades of yellows, oranges and reds in autumn. Also, when its leaves fall it develops blooms that turn pale pink when they open. The blooms fade to white at the end of the flowering season.
Landscape
Used for winter interest, hedging, bordering and specimen planting.
Cultivation
Grows easily in semi-shade, in average to rich soil.
