General Description
This species is listed as locally invasive in its natural habitat.
Landscape
May become problematic in the landscape as it seeds quite readily. Plant as a pollinator to attract the Monarch, Painted Lady, Peacock, Red Admiral, Comma and Small Tortoiseshell butterflies as well as bees and hoverflies.
Cultivation
Plant in partial sun to partial shade in moist but well-drained humus-rich soil of any acidity. Protect from harsh winds.
