Flowers are five violet-blue petals linked together into a bell shape, with each bloom being about 15 mm long. |
Fruit Description |
The seeds are contained in a capsule about 3–4 mm in diameter. They are released by pores at the bottom of the capsule. |
Propagation |
Root cuttings collected in the autumn and cut into 5 cm lengths and place horizontally in flats barley covering the top. Water and place in a cold frame until growth appears and then pot individually. |
