| Abies fabri occurs in Sichuan, China at elevations of 2,000-3,000 m in cool, humid mountain ranges with an annual precipitation rate of greater than 2,000 mm. It is found growing in association with Tsuga chinensis, Picea likiangensis and rarely Larix potaninii. |
