General Description
A very large tree with bright yellow weeping branches producing a soft citrus aroma. The bark is rough and fibrous.
Landscape
Excellent for public parks and suburban gardens with its ornamental appearance. A great accent plant, windbreak or shelter tree.
Cultivation
Well-drained, rich soil in full sun to partial shade. Very drought tolerant.

Tall upright weeping, distinctly drooping branches.

In hot summers it is very susceptible to Cypress canker.

Mature leaves can reach 2mm long although, can reach 10mm on vigorous shoots. Scale like foliage almost like a shoelace.
Flower Description
The pollen cones are 3-5 mm long and release pollen in early spring.
Fruit Description
Fruit is dark brown, rounded in shape and 5-6 mm in length.
Colour Description
Bright yellow almost gold in colour.
